On consideration of the satellite bill. Draft amendments of the Government of the Russian Federation to the bill No. 1051647-7

The Association "StekloSouz" of Russia informs you that the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation is currently discussing the draft amendments of the Government of the Russian Federation to the bill No. 1051647-7 "On amendments to certain legislative acts of the Russian Federation in connection with the adoption of the Federal Law" On State Control (supervision) and municipal control in the Russian Federation "(letter of the Government of the Russian Federation dated 01.04.21 No. 2991p-P36) (hereinafter referred to as the satellite bill).

The adoption of the satellite draft law in the existing version may lead to a lack of control and supervision over compliance with the mandatory requirements for products contained in 15 technical regulations of the EAEU.

In addition, the companion bill does not define a mechanism for exercising control over the products included in the Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation of 01.12.09 No. compliance ".

The lack of state supervision over the circulation of these products will lead to the filling of the Russian market with dangerous and counterfeit goods, which will entail the risks of harm to the life and health of citizens.
