The new owner of the glass factory in Dagestan brought the company to profit

This statement was made by Acting First Deputy Prime Minister of Dagestan Batyr Emeev. In particular, he noted that earlier the Caspian Sheet Glass Plant had an average annual turnover of about 3 billion rubles.

After the deal was closed and the plant was sold to a new owner, Salavatsteklo, for the first 9 months of 2021, the company's revenues exceeded 4 billion rubles.

“The enterprise was in bankruptcy for a long time, and about 400 people worked there. Our task was to save the enterprise and save jobs, ”Batyr Emeev said during a live broadcast.

This 2022, as the deputy chairman informed, it is planned to invest 2 billion rubles in the development of the enterprise, increase the production of tinted glass, as well as hard-coated glass.

Recall that the property of the Caspian Sheet Glass Plant was acquired by the Bashkir Salavatsteklo back in April 2021. The amount of the transaction, according to RBC, is 3.16 billion rubles, with an initial lot value of 5.69 billion rubles.
