Scientific School-Conference with international participation for young scientists «Functional glasses and glassy materials: Synthesis. Structure. Properties»

In accordance with the approved plan for the interaction of production, research institutes and educational institutions, the StekloSoyuz Association of Russia together with the Institute of Silicate Chemistry. I.V. Grebenshchikov of the Russian Academy of Sciences (ICS RAS) from October 3 to October 7, 2022, holds a Scientific School-Conference with international participation for young scientists “Functional glasses and glassy materials: Synthesis. Structure. Properties".

The main objective of the industry event is to combine the potential of the scientific, educational and industrial base for the development of the glass industry.

Viktor Osipov, President of the Association "StekloSouz" of Russia and Irina Kruchinina, Vice-President of "StekloSouz" of Russia, Director of the ICS RAS, were approved as co-chairs of this event.

Within the framework of the conference, there will be an exchange of experience of scientific and industrial schools, contributing to the development of professional qualifications in the field of theoretical, applied and industrial knowledge.

Students, graduate students, young scientists and specialists (up to 39 years old), young candidates of sciences from scientific organizations, universities and enterprises of Russia, CIS countries and foreign countries are invited to participate in the school-conference.

The conference school program includes:

• Lectures by leading scientists;

• Poster session (for young participants up to 39 years old)

• Round tables;

• Master classes by leading scientists;

• Exhibition of scientific works of outstanding scientists;

• Excursions to the scientific laboratories of the Institute of Silicate Chemistry of the Russian Academy of Sciences and

co-organizers.

• Reports of specialists of glass enterprises.
