For more than 85 years, Gusev Glass College, accumulating experience and creating its own forms and methods of training semi-skilled specialists, has been a source of personnel for enterprises in various industries.

As part of educational programs, college employees provide operational training of workers for glass factories.

The basic specialties of Gusev Glass College are:

• production of refractory non-metallic and silicate materials and products (technologist);
• installation and technical operation of industrial equipment (mechanic);
• automation of technological processes and production.

The duration of training in secondary vocational education specialties (correspondence form) is 3-3.5 years. Professional educational programs are aimed at training specialists to work in modern conditions, with the active use of their experience, specialty, qualifications, professional and personal qualities.

The college is constantly developing educational activities, developing, implementing and improving training programs focused on the needs of the labor market, and strives to expand the boundaries of social partnership with glass industry enterprises and organizations. Such interaction brings positive results: on the one hand, additional sources of development of the material and technical base of the educational institution are attracted, on the other hand, personnel needs in the glass industry are satisfied. Social partnership has a beneficial effect on production processes and brings in additional income.
