Investment project completed at Yelizovo plant

A message appeared on the official website of the Ministry of Construction and Architecture that an important investment project had been completed at the Elizovo branch of the Grodno glass factory.

According to the press service of the department, this project involved the renewal of a glass furnace, glass-forming machines, a gas supply system for the workshop, as well as other equipment. This, according to experts, should improve the quality of products, reduce production costs, and increase the export potential of the enterprise itself. The whole process took only 4 months - from October 1, 2021 to January 31, 2022.

The specialists of the plant explained that 30 million rubles of the enterprise's own money and funds borrowed from Belarusbank were spent on all the work. But this is definitely an investment in the future, since the payback period of the project should be only 5 years. There are no plans to update and modernize anything else at the glass factory.

The glass factory in Yelizovo is located near Osipovichi. Nearby is a deposit of quartz sand, which is necessary for production. Today, this branch of the Grodno glass factory is considered one of the largest manufacturers of colorless glass containers in Belarus.
