The largest lamp plant in Kyrgyzstan is launching a new line for the production of glass containers. The state allocated a billion soms for the development of the enterprise, which is almost the same amount of rubles, reports MIR 24 TV channel correspondent Aleksey Timaev.

The production capacity of the furnace is 280 tons of glass in three days. One and a half times more than before, when the equipment was old. The main components are sand and soda. The finished fused glass is then drawn out and given the required shape. This requires a temperature of 1100 degrees.

Global demand for incandescent lamps is declining. They are bought mainly for greenhouses. Management decided to launch a new production line.

“We built this oven completely from scratch. Currently, on this furnace we produce products for the production of electric lamps - flasks and darts. In October we begin producing glass containers. This will allow us to operate it for ten years without major repairs,” said Nuraly Abdullayev, deputy director of the lamp plant.

Currently, the plant produces 70 million incandescent lamps annually. This is a multi-stage technological process. The artificial light source consists of 11 elements. For the manufacture of each, the plant has its own production line. Quality control is carried out at all stages.

“I’m checking the parameters. I measure the length of the spiral, the wound part, the length of the dash and check for fragility. I check for fragility by stretching,” explained senior inspector Aisha Daikynbaeva.

All elements of an incandescent lamp go to the assembly shop. To assemble all the parts into a single structure, eight technological operations are required.

“This includes stamping of legs, installation of the filament body, welding, pumping out lamps, coating of bases, capping of lamps, control and packaging,” noted leading process engineer Gulhumar Kosimova.

This plant is the largest in Central Asia. Products are exported to Russia, Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan.
