Russia will need more than 1 trillion rubles to implement a project on "general cleaning" of the environment. Alexander Kozlov, the head of the Russian Ministry of Natural Resources, announced this in an interview with Izvestia.
According to him, by 2024, 17 billion rubles will be allocated to liquidate 500 wells and lift 79 sunken ships. In general, the project will require 1 trillion rubles.
Earlier, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Victoria Abramchenko announced plans to create a register of landfills, abandoned enterprises and sunken ships, which will be the first step in the general cleaning.
