Details about the project "Development of the glass industrial cluster" are set out in the Strategy-2030 and in the model of economic development of Dagestan, agreed by the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia and approved by the Government of the Russian Federation. Moreover, this project was given the status of "breakthrough", and its implementation began in 2022.

The project consists of 5 subprojects with a total cost of 9.4 billion rubles and provides for the creation of 987 jobs.

The first is KapitalInvestProm LLC, a complex of factories for the production of building materials. The cost is more than 1.7 billion rubles. The project is being successfully implemented.

The second one is Caspiy Glass LLC, which manufactures glass balls for the production of glass fiber. A very popular project, as it provides import-substituting products, up to 75% of which are sold on the domestic market. Production has already been launched, and it should be noted that it is the only one in our country.

The third is Caspian Fiberglass Plant LLC, which manufactures fiberglass and products from it. At this stage, work is underway to organize the production of one-stage textile fiberglass with a capacity of 15 thousand tons per year. The issue of obtaining a preferential loan from federal development institutions is being worked out.

Fourth - Dagestan Steklo Container LLC - modernization and expansion of the workshop for the production of glass containers that meet European standards. Construction and installation work is underway to launch a glass melting furnace and install modern equipment with a capacity of 160 tons of glass melt per day.

Fifth - JSC Keramogranit Dagestan - organization and expansion of the production of ceramic granite tiles, which will ensure the growth of the plant's production capacity by 2.5 times and an increase in production volumes up to 4.4 million square meters. m. per year. Pre-approved preferential loan in the amount of 1.2 billion rubles.

In general, as of July 1, 2023, 176 jobs have been created and 2 billion rubles have been attracted.

As for the Caspian Sheet Glass Plant, we recall that in April 2021, the property complex of this plant was sold at an auction to the Salavatsteklo company, which formed a new enterprise, Salavatsteklo Kaspiy LLC, which produces products that are in demand both on the domestic market and abroad. more than 20 countries of the world.
