Mikhail Mishustin visited the Larta Glass glass factory in Ryazan

The Prime Minister got acquainted with the work of the enterprise and samples of finished products.

The glass factory in the Ryazan region began its work in 2008. In 2022 there was a change of ownership. The foreign shareholder decided to sell the glass business in Russia, which includes two glass factories in Ryazan and Rostov, as well as a management company. Now the products are produced under the brand name "Larta Glass". At the same time, production, quality standards, and a team of employees were completely preserved.

The main activity of the Larta glass Ryazan plant is the production of glass and glass products. The product line includes more than 15 types of high-quality coated energy-saving and solar control glass for commercial and residential construction, as well as mirrors and other products. The design capacity of the plant is 750 tons of glass per day.

The key difference in glass production at the plant in Ryazan is the presence of a production line for vacuum magnetron sputtering, which allows the production of glass with an energy-efficient and sun-protection coating, with the possibility of tempering for commercial facilities and coated glass for residential construction. In addition, the plant produces interior glass in the form of ordinary and colored mirrors.

The enterprise is included in the list of backbone organizations of federal and regional significance. The share of the company's products in the Russian market is 10%.

Directions of export deliveries: Turkey, Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan.

Mikhail Mishustin: First of all, I would like to thank you, the team, who managed to take up production at this difficult time and solve all the necessary issues in order to continue producing a quality product and today not depend on technologies from unfriendly countries, despite the fact that you have a fairly large number of these technologies implemented.

It is very important here, of course, to expand demand, since the losses associated with exports must first of all be realized in one's own country. This demand needs to be stimulated. I hope that the Minister of Construction and colleagues, of course, will help in this.

As for product quality. We all saw today, including the largest, oversized glass. This is already a very big success, because we practically do not have such products.

In this sense, I would like to wish you success and once again remind you that we have a whole range of support measures. This is the possibility of appropriate subsidies for research and development work, opportunities for including SPIC, the possibility of using the funds of the Industrial Development Fund, industrial mortgage - many sets. Therefore, I hope that in the dialogue with the Ministry of Industry and Trade, with local authorities (I know that Pavel Viktorovich (Malkov) pays serious attention to development, our deputy Andrei Mikhailovich Makarov is here) you will continue to work with the same quality.
