Mikhail Mishustin: «9.3 meters is a very serious double-glazed window, fantastic»

On April 5, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin visited the Larta Glass plant in Ryazan. He visited the production of sheet glass, glass cutting line and magnetron sputtering line.

The Chairman of the Government of Russia talked to the employees of the plant, got acquainted with product samples and its main novelty - oversized architectural glass with an energy-efficient magnetron coating 9.3 meters long. The company first presented this development in March at the MosBuild 2023 exhibition.

“9.3 meters is a very serious double-glazed window, fantastic,” the Prime Minister noted. “The devotion of the team to their production causes great respect. He picked up work processes when the foreign owner refused to continue work. Moreover, the plant shows an example of the quality of products that are actively used in the country. This makes me happy".

The head of government noted that the expansion of domestic demand remains an important task for Russian manufacturers. The government is implementing a number of state support measures, which, according to Mikhail Mishustin, are designed to help the development of enterprises such as Larta Glass.

Among such measures: grants for the production of components, a universal subsidy for research and development, various programs of the Industrial Development Fund, support measures for backbone enterprises and participants in special investment contracts, industrial mortgages.

“The expansion of demand is very important, since the losses associated with exports must be realized first of all in their own country, and demand should be stimulated. As for the quality of products: today we saw, among other things, oversized glass. This is a great success, because we practically do not have such products,” Mikhail Mishustin said.

Another development that was demonstrated to the Prime Minister is coated glass with a minimized green tint.

At the plant in Ryazan:

- They produce energy-efficient LartaHome Solar glasses, which protect from the sun in summer and prevent heat from escaping in winter. They are presented in several colors.

- They produce a wide range of LartaPro architectural glass for facades. In their production, the latest coating technologies are used (more than 15 products).

- Interior products are also produced: a copper and copper-free mirror for use in rooms with dry and wet conditions, painted DecoLart glass in black, white and beige. A novelty is a colored mirror LartaMirror in gray and bronze tones.

The design capacity of the Larta Glass plant in Ryazan is 750 tons of glass per day. Over 250 people work at the plant. The company's product portfolio includes more than 15 types of energy-saving and high-quality coated solar control glass for commercial and residential construction, as well as for interior design applications.

The enterprise is included in the list of backbone organizations of federal and regional significance. At the end of 2022, revenue amounted to about eight billion rubles.

Larta Glass products are exported to Turkey, Moldova, Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Albania and Serbia.

Together with Mikhail Mishustin, the enterprise was also visited by the Minister of Construction and Housing and Communal Services of the Russian Federation Irek Fayzullin, Chairman of the Committee of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation on Budget and Taxes Andrey Makarov, Deputy Minister of Finance of the Russian Federation Pavel Kadochnikov, Governor of the Ryazan Region Pavel Malkov.
