Lyubertsy centenarians are learning to create unique decor from stained glass

The active longevity club of the Lyuberetsky complex center organizes master classes in which program participants master original design solutions for creating glass paintings and various decorative items from stained glass. In this way, you can make your home a bright role model, said the Ministry of Social Development of the Moscow Region.

“Throughout the entire master class, the participants received a lot of positive emotions and impressions. They listened with interest to the story about the history of stained glass art, as well as the features and subtleties of working in the Tiffany style, which is distinguished by the use of colored glass and a special soldering technique,” the department noted.

The theoretical introductory part was supplemented with practice, as a result, each participant in the master class at the Lyuberetsky center took home a unique and inimitable stained glass window, a real work of art created with their own hands.

The “Active Longevity” program has been implemented in the Moscow region over the past few years, following the initiative of Governor Andrei Vorobyov. Its participants included many thousands of pensioners and people of pre-retirement age, participating in a wide variety of cultural, sports and social events.
