Lukashenko signed a decree on holdings: more powers to head structures

In Belarus, the head structures of the holdings will receive new powers. This follows from the release of the presidential press service.

Management companies will bring indicators to their subsidiaries and agree on business development plans. Another point: the parent structure will either represent the company itself in court, or it will be able to determine which of the subsidiaries has the right to do so.

Also, the main company will be able to provide legal and security services to members of one holding, to purchase goods and services for its own funds for its subsidiaries.

In addition, it is now often in one holding that property or real estate is transferred from one legal entity to another. The decree describes the procedure for such a free transfer. The press service's release also promises to expand the ability to use the money of the centralized fund. Details are not yet known. The document has not yet been published. Almost all of its clauses come into force six months after the official publication.

The decree was signed against the background of the creation of a number of holdings in Belarus, which, as a rule, include state-owned companies. For example, in February it was decided to combine glass factories into one structure. Later they decided to make a woodworking holding. The head structure is Ivatsevichdrev.
