Consultations of the leadership of the Association «StekloSouz» of Russia and JSC «Institute of Glass»

On May 26, 2023, consultations were held at the Association "StekloSouz" of Russia between Viktor Osipov, President of the StekloSoyuz Association of Russia, and Darya Stupina, project manager for the development of scientific activities of the Institute of Glass JSC.

Currently, the Institute of Glass, within the framework of its own development program, is doing a lot of work to develop its scientific and research base.

These circumstances make it possible to draw up a program to improve joint work in laboratory research, technical regulation and other types of cooperation.

Daria Stupina outlined in detail the plan for the development of the institute, reported in which areas of development the support of the management of StekloSoyuz of Russia is required. Including in solving the personnel issue, cooperation with other research institutions and other problematic issues.

Viktor Osipov proposed to expand the range of research activities in the direction of new materials, including nanoglass. He supported the initiative to combine scientific potential for more successful promotion of scientific achievements and technologies in the glass industry.

At the meeting, decisions were made to provide support to the "Institute of Glass" in matters of sending personnel to work, issuing conclusions for scientific work in order to receive state financial support.

Planned:

• Holding a meeting with the invitation of research institutes, design organizations, higher and secondary educational institutions.
• Compilation of a catalog of opportunities for laboratories in the glass industry.
