The Magistralinvest company launched on Tuesday in Kolomna, a Moscow region, a complex for processing glass waste into raw materials for the production of glass containers and building materials. This was reported by the press service of the Corporation for the Development of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs), with the support of which the project was implemented.
"The grand opening of the complex took place, the project operator is the Magistralinvest company, which also produces innovative, high-tech equipment for processing glass waste. SME Bank (a subsidiary of SME Corporation - approx. TASS) in 2018 provided financial support for the construction of a plant for 52 million rubles for a period of seven years under the program of concessional lending to small and medium-sized enterprises, "the report said.
The launch of the project, investments in which are not specified, helped to create 45 jobs. On one production line, sorting, crushing, cleaning, material separation into fractions and loading of finished raw materials into soft containers takes place. In addition, there is a line for processing thermoplastic bottles into crumbs. As a result of the processing of glass waste, raw materials are obtained that are ready for the production of glass containers and building materials, for example, insulation.
The consumer of the product will be the French construction company Saint-Gobain. "Our joint work with Russian and foreign partners allows us to expand our sales markets and increase the competitiveness of domestic small and medium-sized enterprises," the press service quoted Yevgeny Ivliev, Deputy Director General of SME Corporation.
Oleg Burakov, Advisor to the Chairman of the Board of SME Bank, noted that the technologies that Magistralinvest uses in its activities "must be scaled up and the bank is ready for further cooperation."
