How they work at Sibstekle was shown at a photo exhibition in the Civic Chamber of the Russian Federation

On February 8, the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation hosted a round table and the opening of the exhibition “Russian Economy: People, Deeds, Ideas”, demonstrating to a wide audience a visual chronicle of the new Russian economy and the working people behind its successes and achievements. This is a joint project of the Association of Managers of Russia, the OPRF Economic Development Commission, the Pro-Vision Communications agency, and industrial photographer Mark Kozhura - he captured the modern image of domestic industry and business by visiting 11 enterprises from seven regions of the Russian Federation. In Novosibirsk, the shooting took place on "Sibsteklо".

The round table discussed the impact of science and technology on the evolution of the working class, how to make working specialties prestigious and in demand, how to attract young people to factories. The discussion was attended by representatives of the expert and business communities, the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Labor of the Russian Federation, relevant committees of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, VTsIOM, trade unions, ANO "Agency for the Development of Professional Excellence (WorldSkills Russia)" and other organizations.

According to Anton Mor, General Director of Siberian Glass LLC (an asset of RATM Holding), ESG factors are becoming increasingly important for employee motivation, including in line positions:

– ESG transformation is becoming an applied agenda for Sibsteklo as well. The vector of movement in this direction is determined by the business model, which incorporates the principles of rational environmental management. Initially, the theme of sustainable development for us was, first of all, connected with concern for the environment. And, apparently, it is no coincidence that in the ESG abbreviation, the letters E - Environmental and S - Social are located side by side. Generation Z is entering the labor market, growing up amid increased attention to environmental issues, responsible consumption and the impact of enterprises on the environment. The Zetas' decision to work for the company is largely determined by its relationship with society - by earning, they want to change the world for the better. In addition, the digitalization of production processes, the absence of bureaucracy, and the pleasure of communicating with colleagues are important for them. Given the industry specifics, we need to adapt internal mechanisms in order to use the potential of these guys to achieve competitive advantages.
