Information transparency of the Kaluga Ecotechnopark yields first positive results

The Kaluga Ecotechnopark, where all working units have already been prepared for commissioning in the first quarter of 2020, has organized a public feedback form on its website. With this option, anyone can ask a question about the project that interests him and receive a competent answer by e-mail.

In this way, the administration of the country's first eco-technology park implements its program of information transparency. The first results immediately appeared: not only questions began to come, but also offers of cooperation from companies and entrepreneurs, writes Moskovsky Komsomolets.

The press service of the Kaluga technology park noted that the proposals coming from small and medium-sized businesses are very relevant. In the future, the ecotechnopark expects to establish cooperation with regional producers of goods. Kaluga will supply them with the necessary materials in production: non-ferrous metals, glass, plastic, paper, etc. All this will be extracted from the ordinary household waste by the powerful sorting lines of the ecotechnopark.

“This sorting complex allows us to select about 25% of the resources that can be used further in the production of goods,” said Ruslan Mailov, Deputy Minister of Construction and Housing and Public Utilities of the region. - These volumes are necessary for our enterprises for the production of various goods. Starting from the goods needed in horticulture, right up to nylon tights. ”

Feedback also includes citizens' questions about the safety of the production process for the environment and how this is controlled.

The press service of the ecotechnopark explained that its environmental safety along with production efficiency were the fundamental factors laid down already at the stage of project development.

When such a large-scale enterprise is being built, control measures need to be developed for literally everything: air, land, water, imported waste, garbage trucks, etc. For example, to monitor the state of the environment, a network of hydrogeological wells was placed around the ecotechnopark. With their help, an automatic system monitors groundwater 24 hours a day, recording their temperature, level and mineralization. Devices immediately notice any unwanted changes and send an instant signal to the dispatcher's console. Moreover, at the same time, the system tells the staff the best solution to the identified problem.

The storage sites for non-utilizable residues are isolated by modern geosynthetic materials, such as geomembrane and bentonite mats, therefore, the penetration of precipitation, rain and melt water into the ground is in principle impossible.

In addition, the construction site of the eco-technology park near the village of Mikhali was also not chosen by chance - under it there is a natural waterproof layer of clay that serves as additional waterproofing.

According to Alexey Gordeev, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation who recently visited the facility, Kaluga monitoring systems will allow for the most efficient environmental monitoring at and around the enterprise. “We are here with the specialists of Rosprirodnadzor, and I confirm: all devices work, they comply with international standards, all this will be observed online, and you can check the condition of the object at any time,” the official said.

Reception of waste from carriers is also under special control. GLONASS sensors are installed on all trucks working with the ecotechnopark. According to them, you can track where the garbage trucks bring waste from, calculate their approximate volume. And all cars entering the territory undergo mandatory visual and radiation monitoring.
