Import and export of flat glass to the Russian Federation in October 2020

According to the current data of the customs service, in October 2020, Russia imported 3.0% less than in September 2020 and 7.9% less than in October 2019.

Since the beginning of 2020, imports have increased by 11.1% than in the same period in 2019. Ural Federal District (+ 32.0%), Central Federal District (+ 26.0%), Northwestern Federal District (+ 19.1%), Volga Federal District (+ 10.2%) demonstrated positive dynamics. The rest of the federal districts showed a decrease in the North Federal District (-82.4%), the Far Eastern Federal District (-56.6%), the Siberian Federal District (-24.3%), the Southern Federal District (-2.1%).

In October 2020, the export of flat glass is 15.3% less than in September 2020. Compared to October last year, exports in October 2020 decreased by 10.9%. During the period from the beginning of the year, exports increased by 1.3% compared to the same period last year.

The largest exporters of flat glass are the Central Federal District and the Volga Federal District. Since the beginning of the year, glass exports from the Central Federal District have decreased by 10.9% compared to January-October 2019.
