Gorokhovets enterprise «Polymar» received a prestigious regional award

Vladimir region. More and more producers in the region are becoming major exporters of their goods. Even during a difficult period of pandemic restrictions, cooperation with foreign partners did not stop. And even new contracts were signed. As, for example, at the Polymar enterprise in Gorokhovets, which at the end of 2020 became one of the best exporters in the region. How did you manage to achieve such results?

Dozens of rolls and hundreds of kilometers a day. If we collect all the plastic film that the Gorokhovets enterprise "Polymar" produces in a year, it would be enough to wrap the globe. So, jokingly, the production director Sergey Tarakanov talks about the volumes.

Sergey Tarakanov, Production Director of Polimar LLC: “The monthly output of roughly finished products is about 500-600 tons per month. It is also exported. The main share in our country is, of course, Russian enterprises, and the majority precisely because of their narrow focus ”.

And most glass factories in Russia and Kazakhstan use film for packaging glass containers. We started in 2009 with one such machine. Today the enterprise has four of them. Due to the narrow specialization, the demand is constantly growing, and with it the number of new partners. In 2019, even Turkey became interested in the products, but difficulties arose with the execution of the contract. The regional Export Support Center came to the rescue.

It is of the established form, very simple, it takes just half a minute to fill out. But we all work within the framework of civil law relations. We conclude an agreement and the Export Center is already providing a service free of charge. "

And already last year more than 250 tons of Polimar products were exported to Turkey. By the way, it was for such achievements that the company received the prestigious award of the regional competition "Exporter of the Year of the Vladimir Region-2020" in the category "Breakthrough of the Year".

Contacting the Export Support Center for help and participating in the annual competition always brings visible results. This is evidenced by the growing number of such enterprises. For example, this year about 50 representatives of small and medium-sized businesses in the region competed for the title of the best exporters. And for the future competition, which will be held at the end of 2021, an even hotter rivalry is predicted at the Export Support Center.
