FSK Group to Build Plant for Production of Architectural Glass and Large-Format Double-Glass Units in Zelenograd

FSK Group has begun implementing a project to build a high-tech plant of the STiS Group of Companies, focused on the production of large-format double-glazed windows and other glass products for facade glazing. The enterprise is being built by the Partner Group.

The construction is being carried out in the Savelki district of the Zelenograd Administrative Okrug under an agreement between FSK Group and the Moscow government as part of an investment project (MaIP). The industrial and construction complex includes 4 plants with a total area of 80 thousand square meters on a territory of 17 hectares. Under the program for stimulating the creation of employment opportunities, the enterprises will provide more than 600 jobs.

The plant for the production of large-format double-glazed windows and other glass products for facade glazing is being built on a site of more than 4 hectares. The area of the building will be 21.7 thousand square meters, the production area is 20 thousand square meters.

At the construction site, work is being carried out on the installation of the main metal frame of the building and the power floor plate. At the same time, the installation of sewerage, external utility networks and a retaining wall began. Next, it is planned to clad the facade with three-layer sandwich panels.

“The construction of the plant is in the active stage and is planned for commissioning this year. The enterprise will not only provide new jobs for residents of the district, but will also help reduce pendulum migration. Solving such socially significant problems is possible only through cooperation between business and the city,” added FSK Group Project Director Maxim Rybakov.

The production will be equipped with advanced equipment for sorting and processing jumbo glass (6000 x 3210 mm) and automated lines for tempering and heat-strengthening glass, edge processing, enameling, triplex production and assembly of double-glazed windows, including structural double-glazed windows and double-glazed windows with a tooth. The annual volume of new double-glazed window production will be 300 thousand square meters.
