The Novosibirsk Region Industrial Development Fund supported the digitalization of Sibsteklo

Dear colleagues, we are publishing news about the member of the Association "StekloSouz" of Russia, "Siberian Glass" LLC (Sibsteklo):

With the financial participation of the State Industrial Development Fund of the Novosibirsk Region, a “digital twin” of production is being implemented at Sibirskoye Steklo LLC (Sibsteklo, the largest glass container manufacturer in the Siberian and Far Eastern Federal Districts, an asset of RATM Holding).

The total investment in the project is 33 million rubles, of which 20 million is a preferential loan provided by the regional IDF at 1% per annum with a guarantee from Sberbank PJSC for a period of five years.

The hardware and software complex (HSC) is a Novosibirsk development, an analogue of the French system, which provides for the collection and optimization of production indicators using artificial intelligence and technical vision. According to Anton Mor, CEO of Sibsteklo, the use of the HSC will promptly inform all services about the status and dynamics of technological processes based on objective data, increase the amount of suitable products, the speed and time of effective operation of glass-forming machines, and, as a result, receive additional profit by reducing specific costs.

– The glass industry needs import-substituting solutions to reduce dependence on foreign supplies, – comments Anton Mor. – The development of mechanisms to support the real sector is one of the priority areas of industrial policy in the Novosibirsk Region. Thanks to the assistance of the FRP, the total productivity of the enterprise should increase by 10%, which will help ensure increased demand for glass containers.
