Power engineers of the Rosseti Center issued more than 2 megawatts of additional power to the glass factory in Yaroslavl

Specialists of the branch of the Russian Network Center Yarenergo completed technological connection of the new production facilities of the Center for Glass Processing and Storage of the Russian Glass Company.

To provide the plant with additional power, two new cells were installed at the NPZ substation and two cable power lines with a total length of 1.4 kilometers were laid from this substation to the factory. As a result, the total capacity of the facility, taking into account previously connected kilowatts, amounted to 2.6 MW.

The Yaroslavl plant required an increase in capacity in connection with the introduction of modern technology for processing tempered glass for stained-glass windows, building facades, and other structures. Thanks to the opening of new production, the enterprise will be able to annually produce about 500 thousand square meters of glass products for the construction industry and provide 150 jobs for residents of the region.
