A new eco-technopark will appear in Nevinnomyssk. It will be used to process glass, plastic and polyethylene and produce products from recycled materials. This was reported by the government of the Stavropol Territory.
The issue of building a new facility was the topic of a meeting held by Governor Vladimir Vladimirov. On his instructions, specialists from the Ministry of Housing and Public Utilities and the Ministry of Industry of Stavropol, as well as the administration of Nevinnomyssk, are monitoring the construction of the park.
The Minister of Housing and Public Utilities of the Territory, Alexander Ryabikin, said that the facility is currently being connected to water supply, gas and electricity networks. It is planned to complete all work in the eco-industrial park in 2025.
Governor Vladimir Vladimirov instructed that all work be carried out strictly according to the schedule.
“The eco-technopark will allow us to cover the needs for solid waste processing not only in the Territory, but also in a number of regions of the North Caucasus Federal District. This will reduce the volume of waste sent to landfills and will have a positive impact on the environmental component of the region,” the governor said.
The eco-technopark in the city has been under construction since 2022. This is the first such project in the North Caucasus Federal District. About 1 billion rubles were allocated from the federal budget for its creation. The park site will include production buildings, a scientific and technical center, and additional facilities. It is expected that the enterprise will process 190 thousand tons of glass containers, glass, and polyethylene per year.
Recall that during the press conference, Governor Vladimir Vladimirov said that the regional government is ready to purchase the Stavropol-Auto plant. The deal is planned to be concluded before June 1.
