Господдержка предприятий-производителей строительных материалов

This was made possible by the introduction of preferential gas pricing instruments.
As part of the development of the manufacturing industry, the import substitution rate for sheet glass has increased to 50.2%. This was announced at a government meeting by Galymzhan Kuatov, a representative of the OrdaGlass glass manufacturer in the Kyzylorda region.
According to him, this was made possible by the introduction of preferential gas pricing instruments and the development of engineering infrastructure. The plant has reached an annual capacity of 197,100 tons. Total investment in the project amounted to 42 billion tenge. The plant employs 347 people, 292 of whom are local residents. Thanks to the use of domestic quartz sand and systemic support, the plant increases its output annually.
Currently, the plant not only meets domestic demand (70%) but also exports its products (30%) to the CIS countries, as well as to the markets of Poland, Estonia, Latvia, and Switzerland.
"We received significant assistance to ensure stable operations, including solving issues with attracting specialists and reducing gas costs. This allowed us to produce approximately 500,000 tons of glass over the past three years, with production increasing by 12.9% – from 155,000 tons in 2023 to 175,000 tons in 2025. As a result, export volumes in 2025 reached 95,000 tons, a 30.5% increase compared to 2023," said Galymzhan Kuatov.
