Director of the Tomsk Electric Lamp Plant Vladislav Golubev recorded a video message to Russian President Vladimir Putin with a request to keep the plant. He noted that in recent years, with the help of the state, the plant managed to create a unique production complex of LED lamps.

“For the past three years, we have been in a fever with inspections by the tax inspectorate, which has charged us with huge amounts that cannot be compared with our income. Since March, the TFR and the prosecutor's office have connected, searches and interrogations are underway. I am personally charged and put on the wanted list. Although my stay in Batumi, where I left with my wife, preparing for the birth of my daughter, is known to the investigation for sure, ”said Vladislav Golubev, noting that he could not return due to the strengthening of anti-epidemiological measures.

The director of the plant noted that the company employs 400 people.

In November 2020, the department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the Tomsk Region declared Vladislav Golubev on the federal wanted list, who was charged in absentia with concealing funds to pay taxes (Article 199.2 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).
