The net profit of the Bor glass plant in 2020 increased by 33.5 percent

At the end of 2020, AGC Bor Glass Plant (BSZ) received 8.01 billion rubles. revenue, according to the financial statements of the company. Compared to 2019, the plant's revenue decreased by 10.3%. However, the plant's net profit in 2020 increased by 33.5% by 2019 to RUB 1.46 billion.

Revenue from the sale of automotive glass, which accounts for 85% of the total revenue structure of the plant, in 2020 decreased by 13,% compared to 2019 and amounted to 6.55 billion rubles. Revenue from the sale of polished glass, which accounts for 15% of the plant's revenue structure, increased by 6.6% to RUB 1.46 billion.

Most of BSZ products were sold in Russia. Revenue from the sale of products in the domestic market amounted to 6.59 billion rubles, which is 9.9% less than in 2019. In the CIS countries, BSZ sold products worth 72.59 million rubles, which is 10.9% more than a year ago. Revenue from sales of products in foreign countries decreased by 12.9% by 2019 to 1.34 billion rubles.

AGC Bor Glass Factory is 98.47% owned by AGC Glass Europe, which is part of the Japanese concern Asahi Glass Co. Ltd is one of the largest glass manufacturers in the world.
