Borsky glass plant's net profit decreased by 20 percent in the first half of the year

According to the results of the first half of 2021, the net profit of JSC AGC Bor Glass Plant (BSZ, Nizhny Novgorod Region) amounted to 448.5 million rubles, follows from the company's statements. The indicator decreased by 20% compared to the level of the previous year.

At the same time, the profit from sales increased 4.3 times, up to 532 million rubles. The company's revenue increased by 45% and amounted to 4.6 billion rubles.

Since the beginning of the year, the plant's receivables have grown by 13.2% to RUB 1.8 billion. Short-term accounts payable as of June 30 amounted to RUB 1.1 billion. (+ 3.7% YTD).

According to SPARK-Interfax, AGC Bor Glass Factory was registered in 1992 in Bor, Nizhny Novgorod Region. The authorized capital is 419 million rubles. The main activity is the formation and processing of flat glass. The general director of the enterprise is Sergey Knyazev. 85.2% of the shares belong to AGC Glass Europe (Belgium), another 8.6% are owned by Menarai Holding GMVN (Austria). The parent company is AGC INC (Japan). At the end of 2020, with a revenue of 8 billion rubles. the profit of the enterprise amounted to 1.46 billion rubles.
