On April 22, 2021, the StekloSouz Association of Russia (hereinafter SSR) hosted a meeting of the leaders of the SSR and the organizers of the Competition for Regional Investment Projects "Annual Public Award" Regions - Sustainable Development "under the Cooperation Agreement.

The issues of attracting investments in the glass industry from this institute of Russian industry were discussed. Interesting segments for financing glass production, according to the participants of the meeting, are the development of the production of glass containers, technical glass and other possible directions.

In the opinion of the parties, priority areas in further work will be export-oriented products.

Viktor Osipov, President of the "StekloSouz" Association of Russia proposed to create a permanent working group of representatives of "StekloSouz" and the development institute.

From StekloSouz, the working group will include Valery Shubin, Development Director, Pavel Gorshkov, Director of the Glass Container Department, Andrey Gorin, Director of the Department of Flat Glass and Industrial Processing.

On the part of the organizers of the Competition for Regional Investment Projects "Annual Public Award" Regions - Sustainable Development " Alexander Mundt, Deputy Chairman and Mikhail Sidorov, Director of the Department.

Decisions were made, including the SSR to prepare and send to the organizing committee several investment projects for participation in the Competition.
