StekloSouz Association of Russia. Meeting of the Safety Glazing Committee of the SSR

In early to late May 2026, the Association "StekloSouz" of Russia (SSR) held a meeting of the Safety Glazing Committee of the SSR, attended by leading market players.

The meeting was attended by:

- Heads of relevant departments and committees of the SSR

- Daria Vladimirovna Stupina, Executive Director of Glass Institute LLC

- Tatyana Vladimirovna Vlasova, Director of the Central Service of the Russian Federation (CS ODT), Chair of the Windows and Doors Subcommittee of TK 465, TK O41 "Glass"

- Heads of factories specializing in the production of safety glass products (Fototech Company LLC, Avangard LLC) and related companies

- Heads of testing centers

The meeting was chaired by Viktor Ivanovich Osipov, President of the Association "StekloSouz" of Russia.

Opening the meeting, Viktor Ivanovich emphasized the strategic importance of developing safety glazing technologies for the construction industry and ensuring public safety. He noted the need to consolidate the efforts of the professional community to implement advanced solutions and ensure strict product quality control.

⦿ Konstantin Anatolyevich Nagdasyov, Chairman of the SSR Safety Glazing Committee, delivered a presentation.

In his speech, Konstantin Anatolyevich thoroughly analyzed the current market situation, addressed issues of product compliance with regulatory requirements, and presented proposals for modernizing existing standards.

The discussion focused on the role of test centers in confirming product safety characteristics. Representatives of manufacturing plants shared their experiences implementing new technologies.

Following the meeting, decisions were made.

The SSR Safety Glazing Committee approved a work plan for the next six months.
