Association StekloSouz of Russia. Meeting on import substitution

On April 11, 2023, a meeting on import substitution was held at the Association "StekloSouz" of Russia (hereinafter referred to as the SSR), chaired by President Viktor Osipov.

Department heads spoke:

• Pavel Alexandrovich Gorshkov, Director of the SSR Glass Packaging Department;

• Andrey Evgenyevich Gorin, Director of the Department of Sheet Glass and Industrial Processing of the USSR;

• Shubin Valery Nikolaevich, Director of the SSR Industry Development Department.

The speakers expressed confidence that the issues of import substitution of refractories for glassworks are currently of particular importance.

Decisions made:

Instruct Lyudmila Fedorovna Korshunova, Director of the Scientific and Technical Center at the Association "StekloSoyuz" of Russia (NTC SSR) to prepare proposals for holding a joint meeting with the heads of refractory plants (according to the list).

Prepare an event together with the heads of departments: glass containers and sheet glass.

Schedule a meeting for May 17, 2023 in the conference hall of the Association "StekloSouz" of Russia.

Appoint L.F. Korshunova as responsible for organizing the meeting.
