Association «StekloSouz» of Russia. Meeting on the topic: «Difficulties of inclusion in the register of recyclers»

Dear colleagues!

The Association "StekloSouz" of Russia continues to work with the Government of the Russian Federation, relevant ministries and departments on the application of extended producer responsibility (EPR) for glass factories as part of the implementation of the decision of the heads of glass container factories dated January 16, 2024.

This work is carried out, among other things, on the organization of separate collection of glass waste, recognition of glass factories as recyclers, tariffs, standards, VAT and other areas necessary for the development of secondary raw materials production.

On August 13, 2024, a meeting was held at the Association "StekloSouz" of Russia on the topic: "Difficulties of inclusion in the register of recyclers".

The meeting was chaired by Viktor Osipov, President of the Association "StekloSouz" of Russia, with the participation of Alexey Savin, Chairman of the USSR Committee on Ecology.

Decisions were made.
