Association «StekloSouz» of Russia. Meeting on the topic: «Measures to optimize enterprise costs when changing EPR legislation»

On January 16, 2024, the Association "StekloSouz" of Russia (hereinafter referred to as SSR) held a meeting on the topic: “Measures to optimize enterprise costs when changing EPR legislation.”

The meeting was held with the participation of heads of glass factories.

Viktor Osipov, President of the Association "StekloSouz" of Russia, spoke in his report “On the difficult situation of glass factories in connection with changes in the current Legislation of the Russian Federation”.

Representatives of the SSR management team reported on complex problematic issues.

In particular, Tuknov D.S., Advisor to the President of the SSR, spoke on the topic: “Contradictions in the current regulatory legal acts of Extended Producer Responsibility (hereinafter referred to as EPR), as well as in the draft regulatory legal acts of the EPR,” expressed “Proposals for methods of calculations and financial and economic justification for EPR rates”.

Gorshkov P.A., Director of the Department of Glass Containers of the SSR, covered the topic: “Disproportional rates of the Environmental fee for packaging made from various raw materials”.

Tulinov V.V., head of the "StekloSouz" representative office in the Southern and North Caucasus Federal Districts, clarified the situation on the topic: “Organization of a system for the collection and consumption of cullet”.

Other topical issues were also discussed.

The meeting was chaired by Viktor Osipov, President of the Association "StekloSouz" of Russia.
