Association «StekloSouz» of Russia. Meeting and subsequent consultations on the development of production of domestic glass molds

In the third decade of May 2024, the Association "StekloSouz" of Russia (hereinafter SSR) held a meeting and subsequent consultations on the development of the production of domestic glass molds.

Currently, this issue is given special importance. Glass factories require quality molds of the desired design.

The day before, it was decided to create a special unit within the structure of the SSR with responsibility for searching for modern technologies and training specialists at factories in methods of servicing glass molds. Restore modern methods for repairing glass molds, bringing their service life equal to that of imported analogues.

Domestic investors are interested in implementing these solutions.

Currently, work is underway to prepare a training program for glass molders at a higher educational institution with the issuance of a certificate of advanced training to all those who successfully pass the exams.

Viktor Osipov, President of the Association "StekloSouz" of Russia, assured participants in the glass market that the work started will definitely give a good result, and the factories will receive high-quality domestic glass molds that are not inferior in their characteristics to imported analogues.

It was instructed to prepare a corresponding Development Program for the production of Russian glass molds with training of enterprise personnel.
