Association «StekloSouz» of Russia. Scheduled meeting on environmental issues

On August 03, 2022, a scheduled meeting on environmental issues was held at the Association StekloSouz of Russia.

Savin Alexey Vladimirovich, Chairman of the Committee on Ecology, reported on the progress of work to protect glass factories within the framework of extended producer responsibility (EPR), on the results of participation in the interdepartmental working group of the Ministry of Natural Resources of Russia and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation.

As you know, StekloSoyuz prepared and sent proposals to the draft Decrees of the Government of the Russian Federation, the road map, the Federal Law and other regulations.

The position of StekloSoyuz on the issues of the ROP of the "utilizer" remains unchanged. All calculations are presented and consistently defended.

Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation No. 830 on strengthening the responsibility of enterprise managers on environmental safety issues was considered.

Decisions have been made. In particular, to acquaint plant managers in detail with the Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation, to train personnel. To take an active part in the PIC REO on the creation of technology parks on the basis of glass factories with the participation of state co-financing of projects.

The Committee was invited to take a direct part in the WasteTech 2022 Business Program.

The meeting was attended by Viktor Osipov, President of the Association "StekloSouz" of Russia.
