At the beginning of June, a Meeting on the Development of Artistic Glass was held at the Association StekloSouz of Russia.

As part of the "International Year of Glass 2022", which was approved at the session of the UN General Assembly on May 17-18, 2021, the Presidium of "StekloSouz" Russia decided to join the organizing committee of the annual event "Glass Workshop" 2022 in Nikolsk Nikolsky district of the Penza region, declared by the Autonomous non-profit organization "Commonwealth of Practice".

Issues of information, consulting support, administrative communications of this industry event were discussed at the meeting.

Artistic glassmaking is an integral part of the glass industry. Support for educational institutions that produce specialists in the field of artistic glassmaking for large and small enterprises is now especially in dire need of specific ongoing programs that can solve the problem of interest in the profession and the future employment of specialists.
