Apple came up with a glass iMac into which you can stick a MacBook

Apple has filed a patent for the iMac monoblock with a glass body in the form of a curved sheet. It is assumed that it will be possible to stick a MacBook into it. The Patently Apple portal drew attention to this.

Two variants of the computer are declared: with the built-in keyboard and without it. In the second case, it is supposed to connect a MacBook - the image from it will be sent to the iMac, and the laptop keyboard will be accessible through the hole in the candy bar.

The project incorporated a solid surface of the device: the monitor goes into the keyboard and touchpad. Also, the option without a built-in keyboard is not ruled out.

The iMac case can be either transparent or opaque, as well as include translucent elements, as indicated in the application.

In its current form, the new iMac is unlikely to reach the market, according to The Verge. However, given that the iMac design has not changed for about 10 years, and glass production has stepped forward, "some designers at Apple are considering shaking."
