Analysis of the Russian flat glass and container glass market. September 2023

The AGC company is a leader in the production of flat glass, producing 30.8% of all glass in the Russian Federation.

The largest increase in production from the beginning of 2023 to the same period in 2022 occurred at AGC BSZ OJSC +1.4 million m² (+7.1%) to 21.0 million m².

The largest decrease in production since the beginning of 2023 compared to the same period in 2022 occurred at AGC Flat Glass Clean LLC -7.2 million m² (-22.5%) to 24.7 million m².

In September 2023, glass bottle production decreased by 1.6% compared to September 2022. The production of glass glasses decreased by 52.4%. Production volumes of glassware for medical purposes increased by 4.4%.
