Analysis of the Russian flat glass and container glass market. August 2023

The AGC company is a leader in the production of flat glass, producing 30.4% of all glass in the Russian Federation.

The largest increase in production from the beginning of 2023 to the same period in 2022 occurred at Larta Glass Ryazan LLC +1.3 million m² (+9.9%) to 14.7 million m².

The largest decrease in production since the beginning of 2023 compared to the same period in 2022 occurred at AGC Flat Glass Clean LLC -7.2 million m² (-25.0%) to 21.6 million m².

In August 2023, glass bottle production increased by 2.7% compared to August 2022. The production of glass glasses decreased by 61.9%. Production volumes of utensils for medical purposes decreased by 26.6%.
