Market analysis of sheet and container glass in Russia. Results of 2021

AGC Flat Glass Clean LLC, JSC Salavatsteklo and JSC AGC BSZ are leaders in the production of flat glass, producing 43.0% of all glass in the Russian Federation.

The largest production growth in 2021 occurred at AGC BSZ OJSC +9.5 million m2 (+69.6%), AGC Flat Glass Clean LLC +5.5 million m2 (+13.3% ) and OJSC KZLS +3.6 mln m2 (+23.3%).

The largest decline in production in 2021 occurred at Salavatsteklo JSC -1.2 million m2 (-3.6%).

At the end of 2021, the production of bottles decreased by 6.3% compared to 2020. The production of glass glasses increased by 14.5%. The production volumes of tableware for medical purposes increased by 5.8%.
