Administrative barriers in construction will be cut in 2022 - Khusnullin

The Cabinet of Ministers continues to work on reducing administrative barriers in construction and reducing the investment cycle. Optimization will be completed by mid-2022, as announced by Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin. According to the minister, reducing the number of procedures will increase the pace of construction.

Administrative barriers and the investment cycle in housing will be reduced by mid-2022. This was stated by Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin on the air of the TV channel "Russia-24". Of the 96 procedures that required more than 100 approvals, 32 will remain, while the number of approvals will be halved.

According to the Deputy Prime Minister, the Cabinet of Ministers will be engaged in finalizing the documents in order to reduce the investment cycle for the entire current year and the first half of 2022.

"Then everything will be built faster, more money will be in circulation ... This is a very breakthrough initiative, and you don't need money for it: it's just laws and systematic work," Khusnullin summed up.

Recall that in June this year, Marat Khusnullin also announced the transfer of 2 thousand SNiPs to the category of recommendation. Now about 7 thousand of such norms are required to be applied, but from September 1, their number will be reduced to 3.2 thousand. Thus, only 1.2 thousand mandatory SNiPs will remain in Russia.
