A full-cycle plant for the production of pharmaceutical packaging will be built in Lytkarino

Moscow Region Governor Andrei Vorobyov and Director of Interfarmglass-M Maxim Mudrov signed an agreement on the creation of production at the Russian Investment Forum in Sochi.

Interfarmglass-M is a joint venture of the Interfarmglass private company and LZOS, part of Shvabe, where production will be organized. Now the factory near Moscow is engaged in release of optical glass and fiber glass. The agreement assumes that LZOS is diversified by 2021, but Shvabe representatives are set to begin production in the fourth quarter of 2019.

First of all, it is planned to start production of prefilling syringes, insulin and dental cartridges, vials and ampoules for injection preparations. These products have export potential in the countries of the Customs Union and Eastern Europe.

“Interfarmglass” is 60% owned by Timur Sharipov, 20% each by Maxim Mudrov and Oleg Ruzankin. The company has another project in Kaluga. On the territory of the local special economic zone, Interfarmglass plans to organize the production of borosilicate glass for the production of glass tubes, ampoules, bottles, cartridges for the pharmaceutical industry for 4.8 billion rubles.

In the Moscow region, the plant for the production of borosilicate glass should be built by MedicalGlass Standard, the Coalco structure of developer Vasily Anisimov. The company signed an agreement with the Governor of the Moscow Region in the spring of 2018.

The main investor of the project is a subsidiary of Sberbank Capital, Sberenergogedevelopment, project financing will provide a loan from the Eurasian Development Bank, the Moscow Region Government reported. By 2022, glass tubes made of borosilicate glass of the first hydrolytic class should be produced here, of which later will make the primary pharmaceutical packaging - vials, ampoules, cartridges. The total investment is up to 6.1 billion rubles.
