Cold-bottling LLC and Kavminkurortresursy JSC asked that the right to produce water under the Essentuki brand be taken away from companies that lost access to the Yessentuki deposit, but continued to produce mineral water under the brand. UZRMV Aqua-White LLC, Water Company Old Source, United Water Company LLC, Essentukskie Mineralnye Vody +, LLC Elita Mineral Group and others are on this list of manufacturers.

The testimony from the company was assisted by the chairman of the Federation Council, Valentina Matvienko, who turned to Gregory Ivliev, head of Rospatent, with indignation. “How can it be that there is a holding that has access to resources, extracts water, and there are another 16 or 18 organizations that have patents but do not have access to wells?” Matvienko asked earlier. She considers it unacceptable to deceive people in this.

The names "Yessentuki No. 4" and "Yessentuki No. 17" can be used only if there is a certificate of Rospatent, issued on the basis of the opinion of the Ministry of Health. Documents are issued for a well of a certain field. JSC Kavminkurortresursy is the largest subsoil user in the area of ​​the Caucasian Mineral Waters. In addition to the Essentukskoye field, the company also mines at the Kislovodsk, Pyatigorsk, Beshtaugorsky, Zheleznovodsk and Tambukansk fields.
