United Russia sent to the Cabinet proposals to reduce tariffs for garbage collection

According to him, within the framework of public discussion, experts developed and sent to the government "a series of measures to reduce tariffs for people handling solid municipal waste." Burmatov, quoted by the press service of the party, noted that people are ready for separate collection, but the infrastructure for this is not everywhere.

"In this regard, the party proposes to determine the procedure for returning funds for utilities for dealing with MSW to citizens engaged in separate accumulation of garbage, as well as to release regional operators in such cases from payment for negative environmental impact," said Burmatov.

Also, United Russia calls for the widespread introduction of separate accumulation of waste. "Waste processing enterprises are loaded only by 30-40%, because there are no flows in the regions, as a separate collection is simply not prescribed in territorial waste management schemes. This situation needs to be radically changed, and for this it is necessary to adjust the territorial schemes taking into account the need implementation of the system of separate accumulation of TKO ", - said the coordinator of the party project.

Among other proposals of United Russia are the establishment of a differentiated approach to the determination of standards for the accumulation of MSW in case of separate accumulation, the establishment of a unit of account in determining the standard for the number of residents, and not the area of ​​residential premises. Also in the party they consider it correct to determine the amount of payment for handling MSW based on the actual amount of their education.

Burmatov noted that only 20% of the subjects of the Russian Federation use separate garbage collection. "That is, they basically laid this opportunity for themselves, and the rest do not even consider it. This is a flaw, they will not fulfill the president’s instructions that 60% of the waste should be recycled, a closed cycle and so on, and not dumped under the open sky, "said the deputy, adding that without a separate collection to make it impossible.
