Dear colleagues, we are publishing news about a member of the Association "StekloSouz" of Russia, Siberian Glass LLC (“Sibsteklo”): Siberian Glass LLC (Sibsteklo, the largest manufacturer of glass containers beyond the Urals, an asset of RATM Holding) collects applications for the placement of digital financial assets (DFA) in the amount of 200 million rubles on the Sberbank platform.

The largest lamp plant in Kyrgyzstan is launching a new line for the production of glass containers. The state allocated a billion soms for the development of the enterprise, which is almost the same amount of rubles, reports a correspondent of the MIR 24 TV channel.

Scientists from North Carolina State University (USA) have created a new class of materials - “glassy gels”. They contain more than 50% liquid and are very durable.

On June 18, 2024, the Association "StekloSouz" of Russia (hereinafter referred to as SSR) held an interdepartmental meeting on the organization of separate collection of cullet for glass factories.

A new line is being opened at the Glass Service glass production facility in Klin. Investments will amount to about 37 million rubles, the press service of the Moscow Region Ministry of Investment reported.

On June 17, 2024, the Association "StekloSouz" of Russia (SSR) approved the Department of Logistics for the Russian Federation and Foreign Economic Activity (FEA).

On June 10, a meeting took place between the head of Dagestan Sergei Melikov and the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Salavatsteklo JSC Radik Sultanov.

​On June 14, 2024, the Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology of the Russian Federation (Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment of Russia) held a scheduled meeting with the heads of specialized committees and departments of the Association "StekloSouz" of Russia (SSR). Issues of implementation of decisions of meetings of heads of glass factories on May 15 and June 4, 2024 were discussed.
