Silk screen printing

The process of decorating a glass surface in which a pattern is printed through a silk net or similar screen


Glass roughness

a defect in the glass product, representing the presence of many small irregularities on the outer surface.


Spike

Small protrusion in the corner of a flat glass sheet due to improper cutting


Charge

a mixture of raw materials taken in certain ratios and intended for glass melting.


Schlier

Inhomogeneous layer in flat glass


Grinding

The processing of glass, during which its surface is smoothed by grinding with an abrasive


Grinding method

A method of engraving a glass surface in which the image is a combination of small and shallow patches or solid areas created by grinding with an abrasive tool


Seam (glass)

a defect on the surface of the glass product in the form of a protrusion is larger than the allowable size of a certain extent.

sharp seam - a seam with a non-rounded surface.

burr - a seam resulting from the penetration of molten glass into the junction of two parts of the mold kit.

corner - a seam resulting from the penetration of glass into the junction of the three parts of the mold set.

annular seam - a seam located around the circumference of the bottom or end of the rim of a glass container.

Note. The seam on the surface of the product can be double in the form of mismatching seams from the finishing and draft forms.
