The Glasstech plant shows tourists how finished products are born from a red-hot mass

The glass container plant "Steklotekh" from the Bogandy municipality has become part of the project for the development of industrial tourism from the Agency for Strategic Initiatives.

Andrey Panteleev, Deputy Governor of the Tyumen Region, announced this on his Telegram channel.

A list of five Tyumen tourist routes was presented at the strategic session of the federal accelerator "Open Industry", which is being implemented with the support of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation.

“At one time, we talked a lot about how much the topic of industrial tourism could be in demand. There were votes for, there were against. Firstly, not all industrial enterprises are ready to develop this direction. Secondly, there were questions about the formation of excursion tours. "Third, who might be interested in this at all. After some time, we received answers to these questions. Surveys were conducted as part of the accelerator, and it turned out that about 80 percent of those surveyed expressed interest in industrial tourism. Tyumen enterprises are modern and technologically advanced, and some of them are ready to show the goods in person," Andrey Vadimovich explained.

The excursion program "Glass Technology" was named "Honest Glass". It allows you to see with your own eyes how a finished product is born from a hot mass. All this is accompanied by the release of souvenirs, layouts and video content.

Also in the list of the Tyumen region were "ZapSibNeftekhim", "Metal Profile Ural", "Sveza Tyumen" and "Pipe plant SibGazApparat". All five enterprises were personally tested by experts from the Agency for Strategic Initiatives.

"One of the key moments now is the development of a single brand "Made in Tyumen", which unites industrial enterprises in terms of the development of industrial tourism in the Tyumen region. I am sure that we will have more enterprises developing industrial tourism every year. After all, there are pluses for them are also obvious. First of all, this is informing the residents of the Tyumen region and its guests about their products, as well as career guidance for young people," added the deputy head of the region.

Recall that the plant "Steklotech" is the only high-tech enterprise for the production of glass containers in the Ural Federal District. It produces containers for any drinks, preservation and other products. The production capacity of the plant is 300 million bottles per year.
