In Vladimir, a contract was signed with a glass company from China

On March 1, 2024, in Kirzhach, at the Rusklimat-IKSEL site, the glass industry competence center Steklograd and the Zhengzhou Dongfang Ancai Refractory Material Co., Ltd. from China entered into a partnership agreement. The head of the region, Alexander Avdeev, announced this on his social networks.

According to this document, the parties are exploring the possibility of creating a plant for the production of refractory materials in the Vladimir region.

In the fall, Alexander Avdeev went to China to look for investors, including the city of Xinmi in Henan Province. According to the head of the region, the government established contacts with the mayor of Xinmi, Mr. Cheng Yang and his team, presenting them with the economic and logistics potential of the Vladimir region. Also, a delegation from the Vladimir region visited the production of Zhengzhou Dongfang Ancai Refractory Material Co., Ltd.

The administration of the Vladimir region invited a Chinese company specializing in the production of glass furnaces and refractory materials to build a plant in the Gus-Khrustalny district. This will allow the region’s glass cluster to expand its product range and increase its presence in the market.

Chinese partners have shown interest in the offer and profits to assess the infrastructure and working conditions in the area. Convenient logistics, the availability of raw materials and qualified personnel, as well as the presence of a competence center convinced them to take the first step towards cooperation.

Earlier, the Vladimir governor met with a delegation from the PRC during the Investment Congress in Suzdal. He said that the Chinese partners got acquainted with the products of local manufacturers. Avdeev also expressed hope that this visit “will serve to further strengthen and expand our cooperation.”
