In the Tyumen region are preparing to recycle glass

The group of companies LLC "Vtomservis" is preparing to launch a glass processing line in Tyumen.

The equipment is ready, specialists are waiting for the last element of the system - the photo separator. Several Russian and foreign manufacturers offer to produce it according to individual requirements. The new production will make it possible to make secondary raw materials from former garbage, including glass jars and glass wool. There are already enterprises in the region ready to do this. Here, recycled materials will be finally processed and sent to the largest plants in the country.

“Glass is a resource that can and should be completely recycled. It is valuable material, but like garbage, it is indestructible and dangerous, therefore, it should not be disposed of in landfills and landfills. It was impossible to arrange recycling of glass materials in the region until a waste sorting facility appeared The plant didn’t have enough raw materials: the small amount of glass that we received from residents at the reception points hardly covered the costs of our own processing. Now we can talk about the full launch of production, job creation, the status of the enterprise. This is how environmental reform works: each new stage gives development to a new link, "said Maxim Staroded, the managing director of the group of companies at Vtorservis LLC.

It should be noted that in 2019, the Tyumen waste sorting plant sent about 10 thousand tons of secondary resources for processing. During the year, the Tyumen Ecological Association studied household waste entering the plant. As a result, the issue of recycling organic fractions and processing them into technical soil is being worked out - one of the most effective ways of disposal. In addition, it will make it possible to create a comprehensive system of MSW management in the region: from collection to disposal.

As noted by Svetlana Petrenko, First Deputy Head of the Tyumen Ecological Association, business has gained new opportunities and is trying its hand at the processing industry. Experienced environmental market companies are upgrading existing infrastructure. Part of the finances that were previously spent on logistics can now go to the development of production capacities and the launch of new processing lines.
