In Novosibirsk, multi-colored stained glass windows were installed in the Kalininsky district

Stained glass windows dedicated to the history of the development of the Russian nuclear industry, including the Novosibirsk Chemical Concentrates Plant, were installed in the Kalininsky district.

Stained glass windows were placed on both sides of the alley leading to the NZHK building. Light panels on the square in front of PJSC Novosibirsk Chemical Concentrates Plant were installed in 2023, when the plant was preparing to celebrate its 75th anniversary.

As the press service of the plant said, a total of 14 panels were installed, based on scenes from the life of the enterprise and the nuclear industry. The author of the composition was the artist Vsevolod Pikulik. The development of the visualization was carried out by the architectural studio of Gennady Arbatsky “Red Hill”. The design is applied to the inside of six-millimeter glass using ultraviolet printing. The stained glass windows are made of a metal frame, with LED lights installed inside it, the press service specified.

The stained glass windows are divided into groups, each of which is dedicated to a specific subject. The first block on the left depicts the people who were at the origins of the creation of the enterprise - the first head of the plant, Alexander Ivanov, and the head of the entire nuclear project of the USSR, Igor Kurchatov.

Further, the stained glass windows tell about the construction of the nuclear power plant and, in general, about the creation of nuclear energy. A separate block is dedicated to Novosibirsk, where you can see the iconic buildings of the city: the Opera House, the railway station, the Palace of Culture named after. Gorky (located in the Kalininsky district, like the NCCP) and others.

Closer to the plant building, on the left side, an ancient Russian warrior, a monk and St. George the Victorious slaying a snake are depicted.

Stained glass windows on the other side tell about the work of the plant itself. They symbolically depict certain operations performed by the company’s employees.

The stained glass window at NZHK was installed by the enterprise.
