Two new large investors will come to Moldova, who will invest in business development in the glass and automobile industries of the country.

This was announced by Prime Minister Ion Kiku, noting that, in particular, a large Swiss company intends to invest in the glass industry, and the German company will manufacture spare parts for the automotive industry.

"A meeting was held with a major investor from Switzerland who is interested in developing production in the glass industry. They see great prospects here. The deal will be completed very soon, in the next few months. Some steps have already been taken. It is a deal to acquire the existing assets of the investor on the Moldovan market for subsequent modernization in the Swiss style, so that everything works like a Swiss watch, "Ion Kiku said.

According to him, the size of the investment will amount to several tens of millions of Swiss francs. The prime minister also announced another investment project - a large enterprise that a German company will build in Cahul. He noted that at the last meeting, the government provided land for this construction site.

"This is a very large industrial enterprise that will produce spare parts for cars, tractors ... They will have a German approach in this case," Ion Kiku emphasized. He specified that thanks to the investments made in Cahul, over 200 jobs will be created.
