The focus is on the prospects for the development of Industry 4.0

One of the important events of the INNOPROM-2020 forum held on July 7, 2020, according to tradition, was the online session “Standardization as the basis of Industry 4.0." It was organized by the RSPP Committee on Technical Regulation, Standardization and Conformity Assessment with the support of the Eastern Committee of the German Economy.

The main topic of the session was standardization, as the basis for the creation and implementation of digital technologies in various sectors of the economy.

The discussion was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, Rosstandart, the Ministry of Economy and Energy of Germany, experts from leading companies from Russia and Germany.

StekloSouz Association was invited to this event. Nikolai Pavlovich Talakuev, Director of the Department of Technical Regulation of the StekloSouz of Russia, took part in the online session.

The President of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs A.N.Sokhin addressed the participants and organizers of the conference with a welcoming speech.

At the session, reports were made by the Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation. A.S. Besprozvannykh, Head of Rosstandart A.V. Abramov, Director for Technical Regulation and Standardization of SIEMENS AG Markus Raigl, Head of Small and Medium Business Bureau of the Eastern Committee of the German Economy Jens Belmann, First Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Technical Regulation, Standardization and Evaluation of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs Compliance A.N. Lotsmanov, President of the Codex / Head of the Tekhekspert Information Network Consortium S. G. Tikhomirov, Chairman of the Board of the Association for Digital Innovations in Mechanical Engineering (ACIM) B. M. Pozdneev and others.

During the session, the possibilities of using digital technologies to solve the problems of technical regulation, the prospects of digitalization of standardization processes in Russia, and the main problems to be solved during the transition to Industry 4.0 were considered.

During the event, an exchange of practical experience in the field of digital production was held, a discussion was held on the role of standards in the creation of Industry 4.0 in Germany and Russia. The results of the work of the Council for Technical Regulation and Standardization for the Digital Economy of the RSPP Committee on Technical Regulation, Standardization and Conformity Assessment and the Eastern Committee of the German Economy were presented. The next meeting of the Council was held the day before in an online format.

The main activity of the Council, established in 2018, is the approximation of the regulatory framework of Russia and Germany in the field of digital transformation and in the development of a quality infrastructure, joint work on standards for creating digital platforms.

The Council consists of more than 100 experts from Russia and Germany, including representatives of interested authorities and various companies, including those representing the IT industry.

A number of joint Russian-German initiatives are developing within the Council.

In the direction of “Digital Transformation”, a multilingual glossary (English-Russian-German) in the field of smart manufacturing and “Industry 4.0” has been developed.

The Codex consortium, based on the eCl @ ss classifier, has begun developing a specialized product in the field of regulatory reference systems.

Work has begun on the implementation of the project “Digital systems for dynamic monitoring of the status and operation of overhead power lines with a voltage of 35-220 kV”, which will significantly reduce the cost of repair and maintenance of networks.

A website is being created in Russian, German and English, where analytical materials from expert groups will be posted.

The Council has already established itself as an effective platform for Russian companies to get acquainted with the functioning of the Industry 4.0 platform from the inside and to create the basis for building a similar system in Russia.

During the online session "Standardization as the basis of" Industry 4.0 ", its participants discussed further directions of the Council.
